Tom Schlesinger is to make a Reunion visit to Wales and the Czech Republic, so we do wish
you Bon Voyage and a safe return home
Congratulations to Rebecca Langworthy and Sarah Rubenstein for doing so well in their recent
Year 12 exams. Rebecca has started at Uni doing Arts/Law. Well done to both of you!
Congratulations to Stephen Graetzer for being an integral part of the winning team which captured
the Probus Bowling Cup here in Hobart. Stephen is also to travel interstate next month with his
bowls team good luck and safe return home
Caroline Heard is soon to welcome her sister, Pamela Murray, to Hobart for the first time!
Pamela and husband Tom (along with Laura and Liam) will be here in Hobart for the wedding of
their eldest child, Spencer to Kate McLaren. Spencer, a consultant surgeon, and Kate will be
living in Melbourne after the wedding
so at long last Caroline will have UK family living in
Australia! Mazel Tov to the happy couple!

Study Group these popular sessions continue and, once again, thanks to Tony OBrien for
each set of questions! Theyre sometimes difficult, always thought-provoking and good
discussions and learning are the end-result. Thanks to Debbie Garrick and Will Howard for
providing the venues thus far. Please remember to look on the diary sheets/calendars and on

Hobart Synagogue Ladies Group Sandy Graetzer reports that a very happy meeting recently
was held - the first for this calendar year.
We are very happy to report that some kosher items may be bought at the Elizabeth Street
Delicatessen, including matzah, matzah meal, sweet biscuits, etc. etc.
Thank You to Len Freedman, Carol & Aviva Samuelson, Sarah Rubenstein and Kim Ladiges,
and Bill Stuart for taking Progressive services over the past few months.
