Biography

Elizabeth Fall was the niece of Henry Davis, the first Jewish free settler in Van Diemens land. She and her sister Catherine Hartnoll were very generous benefactors to several institutions in Tasmania, including the Hobart Hebrew Congregation.

A memorial tablet for Elizabeth Fall is found in the synagogue.
