An Australian Israelite report from a meeting of Jewish leaders in Melbourne includes Isaac Friedman discussing how Louis Nathan was not wealthy when he was in Tasmania, but still closed for the Sabbath.
Philip Levy was also present at the meeting and paid his respects for Louis Nathan's Sabbath observance.
