Hobart Town Oct 3 1842

At a Public meeting held at the house of Mr Friedman for the ellection of officers for the ensuing year

It was proposed by Mr David Moses and seconded by Mr Judah Solomon that Mr Louis Nathan be reelected President for the ensuing year.
Carried

It was proposed by Mr Samuel Moses and seconded by Mr David Moses that Mr P Moss be elected Vice President and Mr Judah Solomon be Reelected Treasurer for the ensuing year.
Carried

It was further proposed by Mr David Moses and seconded by Mr P Moss that Mr Robert Hart be Reelected Secretary for the ensuing year.

It was further moved by Mr Samuel Moses that the Committee stand for the ensuing year as before

The following Gentlemen compr[ised] the Comittee:

Mr Isaac Solomon, H Solomon, P Levy, David Moses, I Friedman.

It was Proposed by Mr Isaac Solomon and Seconded by Mr Friedman that three members of the Congregation be apointed Trustees for the Burial Ground. It was further proposed by Mr P Moss that and seconded by Mr Friedman that Mr Samuel Moses, Judah Solomon and Mr David Moses be appointed the Committee for the above Purpose.

The meeting was adjourned until this night week at 7 o’clock
