Transcription
At a General Meeting of the Congregation at the house of Mr Friedman for the purpose of taking into consideration the best mode of procuring matsus for the Ensuring Passover and for any other business that may arise.

It was proposed by Mr Phillip Levy and seconded by Mr Isaac Solomon that the Matsus should be made in Hobart Town for the Congregation of the Jews for the Ensuing Passover.
Carried unanimously

It was further Agreed that the following Gentlemen be apointed for the sole management of the making be

Mr Isaac Solomon Mr Henry Solomon Mr Phillip Levy Junr

The following Gentlemen comprising the Committee of the Jewish Congregation were present Isaac Solomon Isaac Friedman Henry Solomon Ls Nathan Phillip Levy P Moss Robert Hart, the following Gentleman have each fined in the sum of 2/6 each

Sunday Evening January 8th 1843

The present Meeting was adjourned until this day week at 6 o’clock precisely.
