Adjourned Public Meeting 11^th April 1843

Resolved on the motion of Mr Isaac Solomon and seconded by Mr Phillip Levy that a subscription be entered into for the Purpose of Building a Synagogue in Hobart Town for the Congregation of the Jews upon a valuable Piece of Ground in Liverpool Street given by Mr Judah Solomon for the above purpose.  Carried unanimously
