At a Committee meeting convened by the President on the 16th July 1843 at the house of Mr Friedman Argyle Street
The President Louis Nathan Esqre in the chair
Resolved on the motion of Mr Judah Solomon seconded by Mr Philip Levy that the foundation stone of the new Synagogue be laid on the first Wednesday after the ninth day of Aug.
Proposed by Mr P Moss seconded by Mr Judah Solomon that Sir Moses Montefiore Knight as President of the Deputies of British Jews be respectfully appealed to for aid towards the completion of the xxx Synagogue now in course of erection.
