Committee Meeting Monday 22nd Decr 1845 The Treasurer in the Chair

It having been reported that the Synagogue had been feloniously entered by means of picklock keys on Saturday evening or Sunday morning last and a Silver Cup together with a 'ד stolen therefrom and also a piece of velvet torn out of and taken away from the Ark, it was resolved that three Advertisements be inserted in the “Trumpeter” offering a reward of Ten pounds to be paid by the Trustees to any person or persons giving such information as would lead to the conviction of the offender or offenders.
