General Meeting Sunday 21 July 1850 The President in the Chair

The President informed the Meeting that some observations had been made to him in reference to the want of instruction of the Jewish children now attending some of the Schools in Hobart Town.

It was resolved that this Meeting be adjourned to Sunday the 28th inst at 11 o’clock and that the Secretary to send to each person of the Community in Hobart Town to request them to attend for the purpose of originating the foundation of a Jewish School.
