Fatal accident at Hobart

Mavis Joy Benjamin is tragically killed by a car when crossing a street. She was the daughter of congregation member George Benjamin, and granddaughter of congregation president Reuben Benjamin. The Benjamins have four generations buried at the Jewish cemetery in Cornelian Bay.
