Transcription
Meeting of Committee on Wednesday evening the 4th March 1868President in Chair.
Present Messrs Solomon, Nathan, Cohen and Secretary.
Minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed.
The President brought before the meeting that Mr Goldreich had sent in a bill of £50 for a quarters salary, to which he (the President) thought Mr G was not entitled. After discussion it was decided that Mr G could not claim the sum of £50 as he had not accepted the offer of the Congregation to remain at the increased salary of £200 p.a.
Mr Goldreich who was present handed in his resignation and read a letter to that effect. Meeting then closed.
