Meeting of Committee on Sunday the 21st August 1870 at Synagogue Chambers
President in the Chair.
Present Messrs Solomon, Rheuben, Nathan and Secretary.

Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.

Secretary read a letter he had written to the President of the Launceston

Congregation giving information respecting the Government Grant in aid and enclosing Treasurers Cheque for £27.4.0. The letter was approved of.

It was resolved that a General Meeting of Members be called for the following Sunday at 11 o’çlock for the purpose of receiving the yearly Balance Sheet and for election of officers.

Messrs L Phillips and A Levy were appointed auditors.

Meeting then closed.
