Transcription
General Meeting of Members on Tuesday the 31st January 1871President in the Chair.
Present Messrs Solomon, L Levy, A Rheuben, J Harris, J Hyams, L Hyams, L Phillips and Secretary.
Minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed.
Proposed by Mr. Solomon & seconded by Mr. J. Harris that Mr. Pulver be engaged as Reader for 12 (twelve) months at a Salary of One Hundred Pounds Sty per annum. This proposition was carried by the casting vote of the chairman. Proposed by Mr. Rheuben & seconded by Mr. Hyams that a testimonial engraved on vellum vellum be presented to Mr Stone prior to his departure expressive of the approbation of the congregation with his services.
Resolved that the President, Treasurer & the Hon Secretary be a Sub-Committee to draw the address up, which should be presented to Mr Stone at a General Meeting of all the members convened for that purpose.
