A Committee Meeting of the Hobart Hebrew Congregation was held at 145 Liverpool St
on April 18 1932.

Present Messrs A.G. Benjamin (chair) S. Glasser, G. Benjamin.

Minutes. Previous minutes read confirmed.

Business: Consideration Passover services:

1) 1 Proposed by A. Glasser, seconded by G. Benjamin
“That the services be read in English” (Cd)

2. Proposed by A. Glasser, seconded by G. Benjamin
“That the Chairman requested to officiate.”Cd

3. Resolved that the services be held Wednesday 20th inst at 5.30 pm, Thursday ay 21st 10:30 am – 12 noon.

4 Resolved that serviced be advertised.

2) Anzac Day

1. Proposed by A. Glasser, seconded by G. Benjamin
“That service be held Anzac Day 10-10.30 (carried).

2. Proposed by A. Glasser, sec’d by G. Benjamin
That Mr. R. Benjamin be requested to place on the cenotaph a wreath on behalf of the Jewish Community. (carried)

3. Proposed by A. Glasser, seconded by G. Benjamin. “That service be advertised in Saturday’s Mercury”. (carried)

3) Ladies

Resolved that ladies be accommodated downstairs for both Passover and Anzac services.

The minutes were confirmed at the Annual General Meeting on 8/5/1932.
