Committee meeting of the Hobart Hebrew Congregation held at the residence of the Hon.
Treasurer Mr. Glasser, 180 Liverpool St. April 4 at 8.30 0’cloc

Present: President Mr A.G. Benjamin, Mr Davis S. Glasser G. Benjamin.

Minutes of two previous meetings were read and confirmed.

A Vimpany: moved by Mr Davis seconded by G. Benjamin that the account of ₤7.3.5 be passed for payment.                                                        Carried.

Tara House: Moved by G. Benjamin seconded by Mr Davis that the inside of Tara House be coloured at the price of ₤1-10                                     Carried.

Harrington St Cemetery: Moved by G. Benjamin seconded by Mr Davis that the President and Treasurer constitute a committee to enquire that the best to do with the boundary and report at the Annual General Meeting in May 1933.
Carried.

Repairs to Synagogue: moved by S Glasser seconded by M Davis that the services of an architect be employed to collect tenders for the repair of the Synagogue and to be left in the hands of the President.
Carried.

correspondence by Mr B Bernstein requesting that his services be employed as reader to the congregation be a weekly salary

Moved by S. Glasser Seconded by G. Benjamin that this committee does not work to employ a weekly regular Reader.

Moved by M. Davis seconded by S. Glasser that this committee has no objections to Mr. Rubenstein reading the services until the annual general meeting in May 1933.

Donations: Moved by S. Glasser Seconded by M. Davis that the sum of ₤5.0.0 be donated to Mr Rubenstein in appreciation of his services.

Moved by S. Glasser seconded by G. Benjamin that a donation of ₤5.0.0. be forwarded to the N.C.J. Women Hobart Hebrew section.

Anzac Day: Moved by S. Glasser Seconded by M. Davis that the service on Anzac Day be conducted as last year by the President.

Moved by S. Glasser Seconded by M. Davis that a wreath be placed on the Cenotaph on Anzac Day.

The President after thanking Mr S. Glasser for the use of the room declared the meeting closed.
