A meeting of the Hobart Hebrew Congregation was held at the Secretary’s Residence on Sunday night 7th August.

Present
V. Coronel R. Glasser H. Jacobs H. Epstein

Moved by V. Coronel that Rev. Ansbacher be invited over for Holy Days to the view of becoming a permanent minister, wages to start at £300 year. Enquiries to be made regarding his appointment as Reverend. Mr Coronel undertook to make arrangements for board for Rev. Ansbacher.

Moved by V. Coronel seconded by H. Epstein that a letter be sent to Rev Arthur(?) inviting him to address the congregation on the special day of prayer July 4th

Mr. Jacob moved that a Centenary Dinner be arranged at Wrest Point for Aug 16th. Seconded V. Coronel. Secretary to make all arrangements.

That a detailed account of the cemetery repairs be made out by contractor A. Moore & work started.
