Life of Phineas Moss, public servant and author, who was born 1795 in Portsea, Hampshire, and died 1866 in Tasmania. Moss was the Secretary the Hobart Synagogue in the mid-nineteenth century. He probably came to Australia as a free settler in the 1830s.
